I believe what they say is true: if you're doing what you love, you'll never work a day in your life. I am truly blessed and fortunate to be able to do what I love most, each and every day. In addition to teaching, I enjoy gardening, cooking, Oklahoma sports, volunteering with The Bella Foundation SPCA, and spending time with my family, friends, and furrkids at home.
Before coming to Cochran Music School I spent over 10 years in Human Resources. When I became pregnant with my second child I decided to leave human resources to become a stay at home mom. I have 2 children Daniel and Katelynn who have both attended Cochran Music School, just as Daniel was getting ready to go into Kindergarten an opportunity became available at Cochran. I have always enjoyed all genres of music, I played instruments and did colorguard in high school. I have been a teacher with Cochran Music School since August 2016, being apart of this program has been the most rewarding thing I have done professionally. When I'm not teaching I like to read, cook, watch my daughter doing gymnastics, hanging out with my family and I am Disney obsessed.
Jennifer Davidson graduated with distinction from OU with a Bachelors in Music Education. She has taught choir in the Norman school district, as well as directing music and drama at Calvary Christian Center for many years. She has taught private voice and piano lessons in the Moore area for over 20 years, where she and her husband Matt have lived and raised two daughters; their home is always filled with music, from piano to ukulele and opera to show tunes. Her students have won awards in performance and composition, but most importantly they have gained a lifelong love of music. Her passion is teaching and she loves her students - young and old!
